where color blends with matter and decoration
to create a capable wallcoverings system
to tell tradition and contemporaneity
The hours spent in the Limonta archive surrounded by the charm of its history were the starting point of this story. I tried to imagine a continuous decoration. Designing surfaces like wallpaper means for me thinking how to decorate, but also sensing how light behaves in a room.
My mind leads me to uneven surfaces, a sort of controlled error, something that happens, that makes the surface interfere with light. Then one can decide to decorate with drawings or colors.
Then you can decide to decorate with drawings or with colors.
